MAGNET4WATER ConduitNET

Leveraging the ongoing global spatial revolution and new and exciting opportunities – from remote sensing and wireless sensor network technologies, to LiDAR and cloud communication – we introduce a Next-generation Modeling Technology for Water Distribution Systems, with unique tools for:

  • characterizing the movement and fate of drinking water constituents within distribution systems
  • designing and sizing new water infrastructure (or retrofitting existing, aging infrastructure),
  • optimizing operations of tanks and pumps
  • reducing energy usage
  • investigating water quality problems
  • preparing for emergencies
  • modeling contamination threats and evaluating resilience to security threats or natural disasters

ConduitNET pipe network modeling platform allows users to zoom anywhere to create a data-enabled model “from scratch”, or users can load an existing model (created from EPANET desktop or M4W ConduitNET) that can be further refined or customized.

Critical inputs such as elevation and pipe lengths are automatically assigned extracted based the design layout and automatic, intelligent extraction of relevant data from the MAGNET4WATER Global Data Network, for example: ultra-high resolution LiDAR elevation data, topographic data, subsurface data, etc.
