Movement of water between a dam reservoir and downstream receiving watercourses is an important engineering application of groundwater hydraulics. A series of idealized vertical (profile) flow models with different subsurface geologic configurations (heterogeneities) and infrastructure (sheet piles) are provided below as illustrations of modeling seepage under dams using MAGNET.
