Delineating wellhead protection areas, or WHPAs, is a key part of groundwater resource management. A series of idealized 2D (plan-view) flow models with different pumping configurations and subsurface configurations (heterogeneities) are provided below as illustrations of modeling delineating WHPAs using MAGNET.
