Load & Plot M4W Cesium Data
This interface is used to load and plot data from MAGNET4WATER modeling platforms for 3D visualization within DataNET's Globe View using Cesium rendering. As of July 2025, there is support for inundation mapping from StormNET. Additional support will be added to other modeling platforms in the future.The basic steps to send MAGNET4WATER modeling platform results to the Globe View framework include:
1) create a supported output from within a MAGNET4WATER modeling platform (e.g., a StormNET inundation map).
2) open DataNET and login with the same account used in the MAGNET4WATER modeling platform.
3) toggle on 'Globe View' and open the 'Load & Plot M4W Cesium Data' dialog (Title Toolbar > 3D Visualization > Globe View... > Load & Plot M4W Simulation Models)
4) choose a MAGNET4WATER modeling platform, and a supported result/model format.
5) click 'Load & Plot M4W' and allow the 3D visualization to load (this may take a several seconds or longer, depending on the size/resolution of the data being prepared for Cesium).
