Multiple Species Results

Workflow context
For the workflow context, see 📘 Contaminant Transport · 📘 Ch. 22 — Numerical dispersion pitfall (§22.5.3)

What is it?

View model concentrations in the selected model layer as the the model runs, and visualize results after completion. Additional tools to:
   Plot model cross sections
   Plot model breakthrough curves

Species to display: check the species to be displayed on the map, cross section, and breakthrough curve

Time: model time (pulled from saved concentrations)

Layer: model layers (starting from layer 1 at the top)

Draw: options for drawing groudwater on the map and cross section plots

Display Options - Options to change main display colors, zoom, etc

Update Display - Click button to apply species, time, layer, draw and display options to main display

Runtime Output - Click button to see MT3D runtime results

Create cross section - Draw cross section on main display. If the first and last points of the cross section are in the same row or column the cross section is displayed for that row or column, otherwise all the points in the cross section are used. Groundwater flux vectors can only be displayed for row or column cross sections.
undo - click to undo last point in cross section
clear - click clear cross section
Display crosssection (XS) - click to show the cross section for the selected time step below the main display.

Get point breakthrough curve - Click main display to get the breakthrough curve of selected species at the clicked point. By default concentrations are billinierly interpolated at the clicked location from the surrounding cells, but values in the clicked cell can also be displayed without interpolation.

XS Display Options - Options to change cross section display colors, packages, etc

Update XS - Click button to apply draw and display options to cross section plot
