Climate Parameters
By default, all climate data parameters selected during extraction ("input interface") are displayed in the plot once the PRISM Climate Data Chart interface opens. (Checkboxes for parameters not selected during extraction are disabled.)Statistical Analysis
If daily or monthly data were originally extracted, users can check the box next to 'Average' and/or 'Cumulative' to add mean or cumulative values, respectively, to the graphical display. Use the drop-down menus to select the temporal period for statistical analysis (e.g., monthly, seasonal, half-year, or annual).Checking the box next to Water Year will utilize the 12-month period of October 1 through Septermber of the following year for statistical analysis. By default, the calendar year (Jan. 1 through Dec. 31 of the same year) is used.
Chart Options
The first plot that appears will include the entire set of data for the selected extraction period. Select the 'Subset' option to assign a different 'Start' and/or 'End' date for graphical analysis.Use the provided drop-down menus to change the units for precipitation ('Precip') and/or temperature (Temp').
