SW Lake Level Chart

Workflow context
For the workflow context, see 📘 Coupled Lake-Aquifer
This interface displays the transient simulated surface water (SW) outputs in graphical (chart) format.

Lakes to display

Zones that are assigned as two-way head-dependent source/sinks with stages computed from coupled SW/GW modeling will appear in this panel. Checked zones will be shown in the chart display (click 'Redraw' to refresh the chart after making changes).

Chart Drawing Options

Click the red chevron ('>>') buttons to expand the interface and show the chart draw options.

The large text field displays Run-time Messages of simulated surface water levels (Hstage) and water balance fluxes (from/to lake, runoff, etc.) for the current time-step. Click the 'Save to File' button to download the entire history of lake levels and water balance (fluxes).

Use the drop-down menu to select a different simulated output ('Drawing Parameter') to display in the chart (default: water levels). Click 'Redraw' to refresh the chart after making changes.

Check the 'Show OBS data' box to add observation to the chart display. This requires that the user first provide SW stage measurements in the Surface Water Source and Sink menu (accessed through 'From coupled SW/GW modeling' option when parametrizing the SW zone feature).

Check the Lake Budget box to open the SW Lake Budget Chart (water balance).
