Save/publish

What is it?

A SwaNET SWAT model can be saved and downloaded as a Json file, or published on the MAGNET4WATER model network and shared.

How to use it:

Save

To save you model to the local computer, provide a name and click 'Save'. The entire SWAT input files and associated shape files are downloaded as a zip file. The file can be directly loaded to SwaNET platform, whenever needed.

Create groundwater recharge raster maps

SwaNET allows users to create long term, transient and annual recharge raster maps that can be directly used in M4W IGW-NET groundwater modeling platform. To create groundwater recharge rasters, check the recharge raster type, enter number of cells in the longest direction, and click 'Create recharge raster files'. The recharge raster files are created and saved in MAGNET4WATER server.

Publish model

To publish a SWAT model in the MAGNET4WATER Model Network, click 'Publish current model'.

Check 'Do not publish model file' if you don't want to make the model public.
Check an upload up to 3 image file and one video file. If there are other model files, such as observed streamflow data, upload them as other file.
Provide short model name and model description. Click 'Publish' button at the top to publish the model. The SwaNET platform automatically creates model summary that includes subbasin/hru count, model location, PET method, routing method etc. All the model files and shape files are zipped and published to the model Magnet Model Network. The model network can be assessed by visiting https://www.magnet4water.net/mgnModelNetwork/.

Edit published models

To edit/update published models, click 'Edit published models'.

Number of published SWAT models are displayed, and listed in the dropdown list. To edit a published model, select a model from the dropdown list. Model location, name and description are displayed.
To delete the selected model, click 'Delete This Record' on the top.
To replace the model file with current SWAT model file, check 'Replace with current model file' checkbox. If you don't want to make the model public, check 'Do not publish model file'.
Upload desired image files, video file and other data file. If desired, update the name and description.
Click 'Update This Record' on the top. The published model file is updated.
