A series of idealized groundwater problems with available analytical solutions were
solved as verification of the codes/algorithms used in IGW and MAGNET, including those
related to: theis (pumping) solution; aquifer response to river fluctuations, migration
of Gaussian plumes, and watershed and channel flow modeling
(the ‘V-catchment problem’).
