Data Density Chart

The Data Density Chart is a 3D representation of the spatial data density.(2D Contour Chart representation is also available.)

Click the red chevron ('>>') to access the chart options.

1. Chart Types

- Bar Chart (default)
- Zoned Bar Chart
- Surface
- 2D Contour
- 3D Mesh

2. Rotation and Resolution

Use the provided fields to rotate the view along the X-axis, Y-axis, or Z- (data density) axis ('X-angle', 'Y-angle', and 'Z-angle').

The data extent is divided into a grid for density analysis. NX controls the number of grid cells in the X- (west-east) direction. NY controls the of cells in the Y- (north-south) direction. Changing either of these values will update the cell size in the X-diretion, DX, and in the Y-direction, DY.

3. Data Extent Information

This interface section shows the number of points used in analysis ('Numb of points'), the area of analysis ('Area') in square meters, the X-coordinate of the (data domain) origin, X0, the Y-coordinate of the origin, Y0, and the extent of the data domain in the X- and Y-directions (Xlength and Ylength, respectively).
