Flux Across a Line

(Currently inactive) Select the option 'Calculate and display flux across the polyline' to perform this action during the next model simulation.

multiple Species

Check this option to use the line as a source for mulitple species transport modeling within IGW-NET. (Multiple species transport modeling can be accessed/setup from the Simulation Settings tab in the DomainAttr menu.)

Refined Grid

Check this box to utilize the line feature for refining the numerical grid in the immediate vicinity to resolve details and complexities of interest. Click the 'Edit Grid' button to view or change the refinement parameters.

'Use as X-section'

Click this button to use the polyline as a cross-section. (Cross-section results are shown only after model simulation is complete.) IGW-NET allows one cross-section at a time, so a prompt will appear asking if the existing cross-section should be overwritten with the new one defined by the polyline.

Line Name and Data Name

Line Name is the name that will appear when selecting lines for editing from LineAttr drop-down menu (Conceptual Model Tools > Lines > LineAttr). DataName is the ID to be used when performing model calibration/evaluation (comparing simulated fluxes to observed fluxes). Be default, they are the same, but either may be changed using the provided text boxes.
