Click on the ‘Browse…’ button to navigate to the image location and open the image. Then specify the overlay extent using the text boxes next to ‘Top Latitude’, ‘Right Longitude’, etc.
Alternatively, click the 'Use Domain Extent' button to automatically assign the extent of the overlay image as the domain extent.
Opacity
The text box next to ‘opacity (0 to 1.0):’ determines the opacity level (0-1, or 0% to 100%) of the groundwater flow results overlay. By default, this is set to 1.0.
Upload
Once the file has been selected and the image spatial extent (and a new opacity value, if desired) is entered, click 'UpLoad' to add the image to your IGW-NET user account. Then click 'Overlay' to add the image to the Working Area / Maps Display.
Overlay
Once a image has been succesfully added to the server, it can be overlaid without having to browse to the file location, enter the spatial extents, etc. Instead, click the 'Use Uploaded File' to select from a list of images already uploaded to your IGW-NET user account. Then click 'Overlay' to add the image to the Working Area / Maps Display.
Custom file name
For any uploaded image file, you can provide a custom file name by using the text box next to 'File Name:'. This is useful when adding different version of the same image.
