What is it?

For Monte Carlo simulations and spatially heterogeneous or stochastic parameters, IGW-NET can use a variety of algorithms to generate random fields.

How to use it:

1) Click the box next to 'Random' to activate the random field generator.
2) If available choose, 'independent' or 'correlated' with LnK option and set parameters. If this option is not displayed, independent mode is being used.
 a) If using the independent option, multiple scales of heterogeneity can be represented, but by default just one scale is used. To control random generation and change the random field generation algorithm (e.g., Spectral, Sequential Guassian, etc.), model (e.g., exponential, Bell, etc.), or statistical parameters (e.g., correlation scales, lnK variance, etc.), click
'Options' > 'Edit and Add Scales' > 'Edit'.
 b) If using the correlated option, choose the type of correlation (positive or negative), the Variation Coefficient, and the White Noise level.
3) Click 'OK' to save settings, or 'Cancel' to discard them.
