Edit Subbasin Data

What is it?

This interface allows users to modify subbasin level data, including elevation bands and weather adjustment.

How to use it:

Subbasin number of the subbasin currently being edited is displayed on the top.
Edit subbasin data

Edit subbasin parameters

Subbasin parameters are listed below 'Subbasin parameters'. Some of the parameters that can't be edited are disabled.
Parameter description:
HRUTOT: Total number of HRUs modeled in subbasin.
SUB_KM: Subbasin area (km2).
SUB_LAT: Latitude of subbasin (degrees).
SUB_ELEV: Elevation of subbasin (m).
PLAPS: Precipitation lapse rate (mm/km).
TLAPS: Temperature lapse rate (°C/km).
SNO_SUB: Initial snow water content (mm).
CH_L1: Longest tributary channel length (km).
CH_S1: Average slope of tributary channel (m/m).
CH_W1: Average width of tributary channel (m).
CH_K1: Effective hydraulic conductivity in tributary channel (mm/hr).
CH_N1: Manning's "n" value for the tributary channels.
CO2: Carbon dioxide concentration (ppmv).
FCST_REG: Region number used to assign forecast data to the subbasin.

Edit elevation band parameters

Select number of total elevation bands to be used.
Select elevation band parameter to edit.
Parameter description:
SNOEB: Initial snow water content in elevation band (mm).
ELEVB: Elevation at center of elevation bands (m).
ELEVB_FR: Fraction of subbasin area within elevation band.
Make desired changes, and click 'Save'. Please remember to click 'Save' after each parameter is updated.

Edit weather adjustment parameters

Select weather adjustment parameter to edit.
Parameter description:
RFINC: Climate change monthly rainfall adjustment.
TMPINC: Climate change monthly temperature adjustment.
RADINC: Climate change monthly radiation adjustment.
HUMINC: Climate change monthly humidity adjustment.
Make desired changes, and click 'Save'. Please remember to click 'Save' after each parameter is updated.

Applying the changes

Under 'Extend parameter edits', check 'Extend ALL sub parameters' to apply all the current subbasin parameters. To only apply the parameters that have been updated, leave it unchecked.
To apply the changes to current subbasin only, check 'Extend edits to current subbasin'.
To apply the changes to all subbasins, check 'Extend edits to ALL subbasins'.
To apply the changes to selected subbasins, including the current one, check 'Extend edits to selected subbasins' and select the subbasins from the list on the right.

Click 'Save Edits' and close the interface.
Don't forget to click 'Save Edits' butoon on the 'mgnSWAT Edit SWAT Data' interface.
