View/Edit Subbasin Data
What is it?
View/Edit Subasin Data interface allows users to view subbasin/HRU information, edit subbasin/HRU level input files and plot subbasin/HRU level output parameters. Users can simply click on the subbasin number on the map, and examine the input and outputs.How to use it:
To access the menu, simply click on the subbasin number. A pop up window is displayed.
Edit Subbasin Data
To edit subbasin level data, select the subbasin data file below "Select Subbasin Data to Edit", and click "Edit".To edit HRU level data, select the HRU level data file under "Select HRU Data to Edit", select HRU, and click "Edit".
View Subbasin Results
To view subbasin/reach/HRU results, select "Subbasin", "Reach" or "HRU" from the left pane. Once clicked, respective parameters are displayed on the right. If selected level is HRU, HRU selection list is active. Select desired HRU.Next, select a parameter on the right by clicking it.
If desired plot is for entire simulation period, select "Entire simulation period". To plot outputs for selected time period, click "Selected time period. The time period selection pane is active. Enter the desired time period.
If you have added USGS data station while creating SWAT project, option is available for plotting observed USGS streamflow data along with the subbasin output. Select 'Reach' from the left menu and 'Average streamflow out of reach' from the right. If any USGS stations is the outlet of the selected subbasin, 'Plot USGS' checkbox is enabled. Check the box and select whether to plot 'Field measurement' or 'Daily' data.
Click "Plot".
Desired plot is displayed.
Current map value
If a 2-D plot is displayed map, this section displays the parameter name and map value for the selected subbasin. If the parameter is a subbasin parameter, it also displays values for each HRU.Subbasin Info
To view subbasin information, click on the "Subbasin Info" button. The section expands.Subbasin Info displays information for the selected subbasin. Included are subbasin number, area, elevation, latitude, and number of HRUs.
