Edit Water Use Data

What is it?

This interface allows users to designate amount of water removed for consumptive use. The consumpting use can be for irrigation outside the watershed or for urban/industrial use. The water removed for consumptive use is considered to be lost from the watershed. Water can be removed from shallow aquifer, deep aquifer, pond or reach.

How to use it:

Subbasin number of the subbasin currently being edited is displayed on the top.

Edit weather data

From the dropdown list next to 'Parameter', select a parameter to edit. Its monthly values for the subbasin are loaded.
Parameter description:
WUPND: Average daily water removal from the pond (104m3/day).
WURCH: Average daily water removal from the reach (104m3/day).
WUSHAL: Average daily water removal from the shallow aquifer (104m3/day).
WUDEEP: Average daily water removal from the deep aquifer (104m3/day).
Make desired changes, and click 'Save'. Please remember to click 'Save' after each parameter is updated.

Applying the changes

Under 'Extend parameter edits', check 'Extend ALL WUS parameters' to apply all the current water use parameters. To only apply the parameters that have been updated, leave it unchecked.
To apply the changes to current subbasin only, check 'Extend edits to current subbasin'.
To apply the changes to all subbasins, check 'Extend edits to ALL subbasins'.
To apply the changes to selected subbasins, including the current one, check 'Extend edits to selected subbasins' and select the subbasins from the list on the right.

Click 'Save Edits' and close the interface.
Don't forget to click 'Save Edits' butoon on the 'mgnSWAT Edit SWAT Data' interface.
