SwaNET LOADEST Tool-Calibration Options
What is it?
SwaNET LOADEST tool is the integration of the LOAD ESTimator (LOADEST) program developed by United States Geological Survey (USGS) into MAGNET modeling platform. LOADEST program is used to estimate constituent (such as nitrogen, phosphorus, metal etc.) in streams and rivers. Please refer to USGS LOADEST site for further description and documentation. With the seamless integration of LOADEST program and SWAT model, users can use the SWAT model output as an input to to the LOADEST program. In this approach, users can first calibrate the SWAT model for streamflow, and then use the calibrated flow for load estimation. In SwaNET LOADEST tool, this can be achieved by just a few clicks.
How to use it:

Load latest result
Click 'Load latest results' button to load the latest LOADEST results, if available.Run a new LOADEST program
Load calibration data fileCalibration data file is a that contains observation date, time, flow and constituent concentation.
User can either use the calibration data file already uploaded to the server or can upload a new file.
To use the calibration data file already uploaded to the server, click "Use Uploaded File". A list of already uploaded files appears. Click on the desired file name.
To upload a new calibration data file, check the box next to 'Import' and click 'Import'. Browse to the desired calibration data file, and click 'Open'.
Format for uploading LOADEST calibration data file is shown below:

Calibration data file is a comma separated file with the following format:
Date: Date must be in YYYY/MM/DD format.
Time: Time must be in HH:MM format.
FLOW: Flow can be either integer or decimal.
CONC: Concentration can either be integer or decimal.
Please note that if the flow is not available or need to be replaced, it can be done by extracting from SWAT model as described below.
Constituent options
Need to provide a constituent name. It is required but it for display purpose only.Constituent concentration can be either m3/s or ft3/s.
Constituent flow options
User can supply the flow with the data file or extract from SWAT. To extract the flow from SWAT model output, check 'Get flow from SWAT'. Please note that user must have loaded and run the model to use this option. If the flow is user supplied, a unit of flow must be selected.
If the flow is to be extracted from SWAT, a subbasin number from which the flow is to extracted must be provided.
Once all the selections have been made, click next to select prediction options.
