Observation Trend Chart

Workflow context
For the workflow context, see 📘 Calibration

This chart is useful for identifying temporal trends in observed datasets, and for comparing the model to those observed trends. NOTE The chart will only show the observed head/static water level (SWL) data if it is launched from the Calibration Input Data menu ('Draw OBS Trend'). If it is launched from the Calibration Chart menu ('Draw Calibration Trend'), it will show both the simulated heads and observerd heads/SWLs (in that case, observation data can be "turned on and off").

Measurements of groundwater levels from some statewide/provincial water well datasets are available on the Server. The figure belows shows the current water level data coverage on our server, with an indication of which statewide/provincial datasets include information to distinguish aquifer type at the well screen location (surifical vs. bedrock).
