Save & Publish Model

Download your SWAT model, generate groundwater recharge rasters for IGW-NET, and publish to the MAGNET4WATER model network for community sharing.

1Save SwaNET Model

Click Save/Publish MagnetSWAT from the main menu.

  1. Enter a model name or keep the default.
  2. Click Save. Model and shapefiles download as a zip.

2Groundwater Recharge Rasters (Optional)

ℹ️

Integrated modeling: SWAT computes how much water percolates below the root zone. These recharge rasters feed that into IGW-NET for coupled surface-groundwater modeling.

  1. Long-term: One raster per subbasin for the full simulation average.
  2. Transient: Daily or monthly rasters (time-consuming for large models).
  3. Annual: One raster per year per subbasin.
  4. Set cell size and click Create recharge raster files.

3Publish to Model Network

  1. Click Publish current model.
  2. Set visibility (public or private). Upload images, video, or other files.
  3. Enter model name (no special characters) and description.
  4. Click Publish.

4Edit Published Models

  1. Click Edit published models. Select a model from the dropdown.
  2. Replace model file, update images/video/description, change visibility.
  3. Click Update This Record or Delete This Record.

Who sees published models?
Public models are viewable by all users. Private models are only accessible by you.
What are recharge rasters for?
They feed SWAT-computed recharge into IGW-NET for integrated surface-groundwater modeling.
