The Calibration Chart compares simualted and observed head (water level) values distributed across space (steady-state or single-time step) as an evaluation of model performance.
Options
Click the red '>>' button to show the Calibration Chart options: interpolation methods for simulated data; data source for observed data; and chart display options.Draw Calibration Trend (transient post analysis ONLY)
After importing the observed head/static water level data, clicking this button will launch the 'Observation Trend Chart', which displays simualted and/or observed head or static water levels (SWLs) as a function of time.NOTEs about transient calibration The observation data "time stamp" must be consistent with the simulation time period. For example, if you try to import SWLs from the Data Center for the period 2000-2005, and your simulation is for the period 2010-2015, IGW-NET will NOT display observation data in the calibration chart after extracting the SWLs.
Once observed head/SWL data have been succesfully imported to the calibration chart, there is a start date time stamp on the top of residual table in 45 degree line chart.
